Omaha fire crews investigating vacant house fire
Omaha, Nebraska – Omaha fire crews are diligently investigating the origin of a fire that broke out in a vacant house early Monday morning.
The Omaha Fire Department (OFD) said that they were alerted to the blaze at a residence on Drexel Street, situated close to the JFK, slightly before 2 a.m. Upon their arrival, a minor fire was detected in the dining room.

Thankfully, the team’s swift action meant that the flames were contained and under control in a mere 10 minutes. It’s a relief to note that there were no injuries as a result of the fire. However, the unfortunate incident has left damages estimated at $11,000.
